The conference presented cutting-edge research, including a study by the Southern Military Institute of Preventive Medicine on the loop isothermal amplification (LAMP) method, which successfully detected the Mpox virus. This method, which provides quick and visible results without the need for expensive equipment, offers a promising alternative to the PCR test for field diagnosis. Other presentations focused on lead poisoning in children, highlighting the neurological damage caused by lead exposure and the importance of prevention and early diagnosis.

The event also addressed the challenges in controlling infectious diseases like measles, dengue fever, and hand-foot-mouth disease, with experts coming together to discuss solutions for these ongoing public health issues.
