Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province in Southern Vietnam is offering significant discounts up to sixty-five percent across thirty-four hospitality businesses to boost travel during the off-season. This promotional campaign aims to position tourism as a primary economic driver for the region. The initiative, which includes cultural and sporting events, runs through December 2024, highlighting the province’s attractiveness and economic vitality.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province in Southern Vietnam has initiated a tourism promotion effort, offering discounts from ten percent to sixty-five percent across thirty-four businesses, including high-end hotels and resorts, to increase travel during the off-peak season.
Spearheaded by the provincial Department of Tourism and the provincial Tourism Association, this program aims to enhance tourism as a key economic contributor.
Through December 2024, participating businesses in locations such as Vung Tau City, Phuoc Hai Town, Ho Tram, Ho Coc, Binh Chau, and Con Dao Island will offer these promotions.
This initiative also showcases 233 tourist sites and 54 travel routes in the province.
Additional events like cultural exchanges with South Korea, international marathons, and celebrations will further attract visitors.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau, having hosted about 13.2 million tourists in the first nine months of 2024, and earning estimated tourism revenue of over VND fourteen trillion (approximately 555.8 million dollars), aims to continue its upward trend in tourism.
