Colours of Nature Exhibition Celebrates Vietnam’s Rich Cultural Heritage
Photo exhibition showcases stunning landscapes from across Vietnam to mark Cultural Heritage Day
In celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day on November 23, a series of exhibitions have been organized in Hoàn Kiếm District, with one of the highlights being the "Colours of Nature" photo exhibition. Held at the Hoàn Kiếm Lake pedestrian zone, the exhibition features 60 stunning photographs selected from the Vietnam Heritage Photo Awards (2012-2019), showcasing the beauty of Vietnam's landscapes. The photos depict vibrant natural scenes, including iconic locations like Đồng Văn Plateau in Hà Giang and Hòn Khoai Island in Cà Mau, offering visitors a visual journey across the country.
The exhibition presents awe-inspiring moments in nature, such as the autumn views of Bản Giốc Falls in Cao Bằng Province and the flood season in An Giang's cajeput forest. The "Colours of Nature" exhibition is part of a wider range of activities organized to commemorate Heritage Day, which has been a key event since its inception in 2005 to promote and protect Vietnam’s cultural heritage. Other exhibitions in the district focus on traditional crafts and the ancient techniques of bronze casting, showcasing Vietnam’s rich cultural legacy.
Visitors to the exhibitions can also explore handmade products from traditional craft villages and view works of contemporary art, including bronze sculptures and paintings. These exhibitions are running until December 15, with a seminar on the renowned Đông Sơn Drum scheduled for December 8.
