The Hanoi Culinary Culture Festival 2024, themed “Hanoi connects the World,” is currently underway at Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi. The festival, which opened on November 29, brings together 16 embassies and eight neighboring provinces, with over 80 booths offering a diverse range of culinary experiences.

Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Vu Thu Ha, emphasized that the festival provides an opportunity for artisans, chefs, and visitors to exchange ideas, explore unique cuisines, and celebrate the rich culinary culture of Hanoi and beyond. Visitors can enjoy a mix of traditional and modern cultural performances, as well as interact with renowned chefs and artisans, who transform ingredients into culinary masterpieces that reflect national identities.

Among the highlights of this year's festival is the recognition of Hanoi’s pho (rice noodle soup) as a national intangible cultural heritage. The festival also introduces innovative dishes like the "Pho So Ha Thanh" or Ha Thang Digital Pho, where traditional cooking meets cutting-edge technology. Attendees can taste both classic pho and its modern digital counterpart, prepared by smart robots, showcasing the fusion of technology and Vietnam’s culinary traditions.
