Le Vietnam prend des mesures contre les jeux non autorisés sur Netflix

Les autorités exigent le respect des réglementations pour garantir que les services de jeux en ligne respectent les normes légales. L'Autorité de la radiodiffusion, de la télévision et de l'information électronique a publié un avis officiel à Netflix, exhortant la plateforme de streaming à respecter les directives légales du Vietnam concernant les services de jeux en ligne. À la suite d'inspections des services en ligne, le ministère de l'Information et des Communications (MIC) a découvert que Netflix faisait la promotion de jeux en ligne non approuvés dans son application disponible pour les utilisateurs au Vietnam. En outre, la plateforme a été trouvée pour offrir de multiples jeux électroniques sur l'App Store et Google Play Store Vietnam sans autorisation appropriée, violant les résolutions du gouvernement sur la gestion et la fourniture de services Internet. Netflix a reçu l'ordre de cesser la publicité et la distribution de jeux en ligne sur son application et d'autres magasins d'applications d'ici le 25 avril 2024. Le non-respect de ces dispositions peut entraîner des poursuites judiciaires conformément à la législation vietnamienne. Récemment, les utilisateurs vietnamiens de Netflix ont été surpris de constater un nombre croissant de jeux mobiles aux côtés de films sur la plateforme, passant de 50 à 90 jeux disponibles. Ces jeux, y compris les jeux violents pour les plus de 18 ans comme GTA et les jeux de rencontres pour les plus de 16 ans, n'ont pas été autorisés pour le marché vietnamien.
