In Ha Giang Province, Vietnam, police officers assisted 400 foreign tourists stranded by floods.

The tourists were stuck on a 700-meter section of National Road 4C due to heavy rains that have inundated the northern region over the past three days.

Eleven officers and two specialized vehicles were deployed to help the tourists, who were mainly traveling by motorbike from Dong Van District to Meo Vac District.

Ha Giang, known for its stunning mountain landscapes and diverse ethnic cultures, is popular among motorbike enthusiasts.

The flooding has been widespread, affecting urban areas like Ha Giang City.

Authorities have implemented checkpoints to keep people away from dangerous, landslide-prone zones.

As of this afternoon, three people are confirmed dead, and one is missing due to the floods, with property damage totaling over 24 billion VND (about one million dollars).

The Ha Giang Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has halted risky tourism activities and urged tour agencies to alter itineraries if necessary.
