Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nguyen Van Hung, has presented a report to the National Assembly addressing inquiries from the seventh session, including the trial development of night-time tourism. The report highlighted several successful night-time tourism attractions such as the 'Tinh hoa dao hoc' tour at the Temple of Literature, the 'Tinh hoa Bac bo' real-life show, and the 'Ha Long Cruise Night Street' in Quang Ninh.

Other popular activities include street performances, zumba, modern dance, and stalls showcasing local products and street food, attracting both domestic and international visitors. Despite these successes, Minister Hung noted that Vietnam still lacks policies to encourage night-time tourism and attract investors. Current offerings are limited to walking streets, shopping areas, and night markets, with insufficient space and strategic planning for night-time tourism.

The ministry plans to collaborate with cities and provinces to implement night-time tourism in 12 major localities. This will involve identifying suitable areas, addressing technical issues like security and labor policies, and developing flexible tourism spaces and entertainment complexes. Advertising campaigns will target high-spending travelers who stay in Vietnam for extended periods and seek high-quality experiences.
