The authority issued a statement on its website demanding compliance with Vietnamese regulations on online game services.

Netflix has been ordered by the Vietnamese government to stop advertising and publishing its video games on the Netflix app and app stores in Vietnam before April 25.

The streaming platform, which has previously been instructed to block domestic access to certain content, is planning to open an office in the country.

Netflix initiated its foray into gaming by launching mobile games in November 2021.
