Vietnam's Party General Secretary and State President To Lam is embarking on an official diplomatic tour from September 30 to October 7, visiting Mongolia, Ireland, and France. This high-level tour aims to strengthen ties with key partners and enhance Vietnam's global presence. In Mongolia, President To Lam’s visit marks 70 years of diplomatic relations, with trade between the two nations surpassing 120 million US dollars last year.

In Ireland, Vietnam’s sixth-largest EU trading partner, the visit will boost cooperation, with bilateral trade already nearing 3.5 billion US dollars in 2023. The final stop is France, where President To Lam will attend the 19th Francophonie Summit and further strengthen the strategic partnership between Vietnam and France, which saw trade volumes reach 5.3 billion US dollars in 2022.

These state visits highlight Vietnam’s expanding diplomatic outreach and commitment to fostering economic growth and international cooperation, positioning itself as an important player in the global arena.
