Ministry Approves Nine-Day Tet Holiday in 2025

Tet holiday and other public holidays to give extended breaks for workers
The Ministry of Home Affairs has endorsed a proposal by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs for a nine-day holiday for the Lunar New Year (Tet) in early 2025, running from January 25 to February 2.

The proposal is now awaiting final approval from the prime minister. Additionally, a five-day break has been approved for Reunification Day on April 30 and International Labor Day on May 1, from April 30 to May 4, 2025. A four-day holiday has also been set for National Day, from August 30 to September 2, 2025.
