VinFast Reports Strong EV Sales in February with Record-Breaking VF 3 SUV

Vietnamese Electric Vehicle Manufacturer Sees 25% Increase in Sales
VinFast, the Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has reported impressive sales figures for February, with over 12,500 EVs sold—a 25% increase compared to the previous month. The VF 3 mini electric SUV led the sales, with 5,200 units sold, averaging nearly 200 vehicles per day. Priced below VND300 million (US$11,770), the VF 3's affordability and high customization options have contributed to its strong demand.

The VF 5 crossover city car ranked second with more than 3,000 units sold, benefiting from its versatility, making it popular for both personal use and ride-hailing services. Powered by a 134-horsepower electric engine, it offers a driving range of up to 326 kilometers per charge.

VinFast's compact SUV VF 6 also continued its strong performance with nearly 2,000 units sold in February, marking the fifth consecutive month of sales surpassing 1,000 units. The VF 7, a C-segment SUV, debuted with over 570 units sold. Combined sales of other models like the VF e34, VF 8, and VF 9 totaled around 1,630 units.

In the first two months of 2025, VinFast has already sold nearly 23,000 EVs, outpacing the combined sales of Japanese automakers Isuzu and Suzuki in Vietnam. The company also announced new models in its Green vehicle series, including the Minio Green and Limo Green, with pre-orders starting March 17.
