The island was recognized for its unique blend of natural beauty, diverse activities, and world-class tourism infrastructure, which have transformed it from a hidden gem to a leading destination.

Phu Quoc continues to receive accolades from global travel magazines, including being ranked the second-best island in the world by Travel + Leisure and being named one of the top 10 most beautiful beach destinations in Asia by DestinAsian. The island offers a wide range of activities, including the world’s longest non-stop three-rope cable car ride and premium art shows, attracting visitors from over 150 countries.

In the first nine months of 2024, Phu Quoc welcomed over 720,000 foreign tourists, a 56% increase from 2023, and exceeded its annual plan by 8.6%. With new direct flights connecting the island to key international markets such as Hong Kong, Singapore, and Eastern Europe, Phu Quoc expects to see further growth, with an estimated 100 international flights per week in the year-end tourism season.
