Vietnam-US Trade Forum Highlights Smart Technology Collaboration
HAMEE explores collaboration opportunities with US partners in the smart technology sector
The Ho Chi Minh City Association of Mechanical – Electrical Enterprises (HAMEE), in partnership with the Vietnam Trade Office in the US and the Asian American Chamber of Commerce (AACC), recently held a Vietnam-US trade promotion forum focused on smart technology.
The forum aimed to showcase the strengths and capabilities of over 30 member companies from HAMEE, including those in supporting technology, processing components, manufacturing and automation machinery, electrical equipment, and energy. HAMEE Vice President Diep Bao Canh highlighted this as the association’s first endeavor to explore business cooperation opportunities in the US market.
A key outcome of the forum was the signing of a memorandum of understanding between HAMEE and AACC, fostering trade and investment cooperation. This includes plans to promote business exchanges, participate in seminars, and engage in exhibitions in both countries.
